WILL I NEED TO SEW THE FABRIC TO COVER THE CORNICE?

HOW DO I DECIDE THE WIDTH TO ORDER?
Measure the window including casements and the outer edge of window curtains or shades you want to top. Window Cornice Coverings will fit any window. Extensions will be included in your custom kit to allow for the final width you need. See our How to Measure page for details on ordering the correct width.
WILL IT BE DIFFICULT TO HANG THE COMPLETED CORNICE?
Our unique cornice kits our LIGHTWEIGHT. A DIY Custom Cornice six foot wide will not weigh more than five pounds! Your custom cornice kit will arrive with patented mounting brackets. The brackets simply slide into a groove in the back of the cornice body. Installation is a simple procedure.Your kit will include easy to follow instructions.
WHAT ARE THE CORNICE CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS?
The end caps and extension pieces of our custom cornice kits are made of modified expanded polystyrene (EPS, with a fire retardant additive), a firm material that can be used for expanses up to fifty or sixty feet.

WILL THE CORNICE BE ASSEMBLED?
For safety in shipping the Cornice Kit will not be assembled. Assembly is one of 3 easy steps in creating your custom window top treatment. The cornice topper kit will include end caps and extension pieces. Join the extension pieces and end caps using a low temperature glue gun for a strong permanent bond.You will be delighted to finish your project in just an hour or two.
CAN I COVER BAY WINDOWS?
YES! Our professional results “Do It yourself” product will easily decorate bay windows or even corner windows! For bay windows order the bay/corner window adapter. This specialty piece incorporates a flexible section to bend to the exact angle of any bay, all the way to a 90 degree angle for corner windows.

Unique Shape molded returns make a Professional Cornice Box that will look like a design pro worked for hours assembling and decorating.
